~ Bohemian Chic: Retail Therapy ~

Recently I started picking up vintage jewelry to sell in the shoppe.  I've been attracted to chunky crosses, religious medals and French pendants.  After a bit of tweaking ~ moving a bauble here, adding a bit there, I have a collection.  I think it's kind of bohemian chic.

The Bohemian Chic collection is coming to the shoppe next week.  There are several wonderful dealers at One of a Kind who have beautiful jewelry.  We'd love to see you there.

Have a good week.

~ Seriously, Just for Fun: Retail Therapy ~

When I found this fabulously French, slightly over the top chair, I couldn't resist getting it for the shop.

The best thing about it ~ I found it's mate in a Buckhead antique store for twice the price.

Bonne nuit.

~ Essential Elements ~

Ever since I took Vicky's (Room Service ~ Decorating 101) challenge to define my personal style, I've been thinking about the essential elements that make up my personal style.

These gorgeous photos all have some of the essential elements of my personal style.  Do you see the common thread?  How would you define it?

Have a beautiful weekend.

~ Summer Inspired Shopping Spree: Retail Therapy ~

Since I'm going to miss a day trip to Madison with my friends tomorrow because I'll be working at the store, I wanted to take all of you on a Summer inspired shopping spree with me through my booth at One of a Kind.

With it's clean lines, it looks great in the bathroom, too.

Lots of silver pieces.

Antique Swedish pressed herbs.

Garden chairs and benches.

If you are near Marietta, I'd love to see you at One of a Kind.

Happy weekend.
