Bonjour Amis

Would you believe me if I said I have been in the South of France for the past four months?  Ahh, I wish it was true!  I'm happy to be back after a little hiatus with some shots I took at the shoppe in DuPre's Antique Market today.

Hope you are having a happy Summer.  I've missed everyone!

~ Walk Through The Door ~

There's something beautiful on the other side.

Eloquence ~ antiques and reproduction furniture.  So beautiful, I can't speak.

Happy weekend.

I was at the Merchandise Mart a couple weeks ago to check out the Spring lines.  So much to see!  But only one showroom made me gasp ~ it was soooo pretty.  Pom Pom ~ you made my heart skip a beat.

Last week, I received such a nice surprise when the lovely Lavinia from Lavinia's Paper Emporium shared her Liebster Blog award with me.  This award is given to bloggers with under 200 followers.  I've said this before, but I am always surprised to see that I have any followers!!

So to follow the rules and share the love, I am pleased to pass this award along to:

(1) Pom Pom Living.  I'm not sure how many followers Pom Pom has to their relatively new blog, but since their store left me breathless, I tag them.

(2) The Artful Diva.   Pat Kumicich is such a creative artist.  I love her unique style.

(3) My Paris Flea Market Diary.  I would die to find such great treasures!

(4) The Artful Lifestyle ~ featuring my favorite art gallery in Atlanta, and torturing me with the dream of going on one of their tours to France . . . Awww.

(5)Oops!  My battery is dying on my laptop and I'm running out of time so, I'm going to cheat and leave you guessing on who my fifth pick would be.

Please visit Lavinia and these other lovely blogs.
Have a wonderful week.

~ Elly May Clampett Would Be Jealous ~

Happy Monday!  I had a great Friday night at the auction.  Elly May Clampett would have been jealous of my car full of treasures ~ with two French wire atageres tied on top.

I took a few new pieces to the shoppe at DuPre's Antique Market today.  I think Rachel would approve of this Florentine chest.

This French butler's serving table is really different.

Some other great finds . . .

It was fun to redecorate after the holidays.

This chinoiserie sideboard is very happy with all the pink we added to the shoppe today.

Have a wonderful week!

P.S.  I was shocked when I won this pair of old mechanical bears.  They were so cute, I had to bid.
