~ Market Day ~

I've posted a lot of pictures of the shoppe in the past few weeks (sorry), but there have been lots of exciting changes in the store that I wanted to share.  I'm finally settled into my new booth and am ready for Market Day coming up on Saturday.

I hope you will stop by One of a Kind in Marietta on May 1st for some great sales, food and fun!

I had an amazing day Thursday at my favorite estate warehouse sale.  The only problem is that I want to keep most of these great finds for the cupboard I am convinced I will find for my dining room wall.  Oh, and I was really bad.  I finally bought two marble topped French side tables that I have had my eye on for the past few months.

My next challenge will be to decide what style mirror to put on the wall behind my sofa.  I'll need your help!  I'm looking for inspiration pictures and will share them soon.  I posted this picture already, but its very similar to my living room.  My choices will be a super large wrought iron mirror with antique glass or an ornate leaning Louis Phillipe.

~ Gorgeous Swedish Inspired Shop: Inspiration + Retail Therapy ~

I am in awe of the beautiful Swedish inspired space created by the talented Linda Luce in her new shop in One of Kind.  Linda is a painter, decorater and collector extraordinaire. 

This pair of chairs has incredible character and patina!

How charming are these vignettes?

I am in love with all of this creamware. 

Bunches of it will be coming home with me.

And this sideboard, painted by the talented Linda, is to die for!

Belle Francaise Interiors is now located right behind Linda's great space in the burlap booth.  I have a storeroom full of things I'm dying to move in.

These antique Swedish botanicals are sold individually, but look great in a collection!

I can't resist beautiful vintage monogrammed and embroidered linen, pillows and silver.

  Our annual Market Day is May 1st.  There will be lots of dealers outside, great food and an antique car show.  I hope to see you soon at One of a Kind.

~ Celebrating Spring ~

Spring is the most beautiful time in Atlanta. White dogwoods are blooming. Pink roses and peonys are trying to pop out.

Um..., it's the perfect day for yard sales.  Sorry, but it's all about shopping and the quest for perfect treasures.  I would love to find a bunch of these seltzer bottles.  (I'm so jealous that Tracey from French Larkspur is at the Paris Flea Market.)

~ All About Me ~

It's going to be such a busy weekend.  I'm heading out to pick up a coffee table from my favorite store, Bungalow Classic, for my new living room.  The sofa looks a lot like this. 

Right about now, I love how peaceful this room feels.

Then, I'm going to a bridal shower and Scott's Antique Market.  I'm looking for a huge French leaning mirror for the living room

and treasures for the shoppe. 

Tomorrow I'm moving my booth at One of a Kind. 

You will now be able to find me near the front in the burlap room.
